After graduating from Kalamazoo College in U.S., passed the U.S. CPA exams while working at ORIX Corporation as a sales representative. Joined Deloitte Tokyo in 2002 and engaged mainly domestic entities of global companies for assurance services under US-GAAP and/or IFRS, and Japanese listed companies under J-GAAP. In addition to the audit engagement, involved with client consulting services such as conversion from J-GAAP to US-GAAP, due diligence, M&A consultation and IPO.
In 2011, joined in Brink’s Japan, a subsidiary of NYSE listed company, as a finance manager, contributing to accurate, efficient financial reporting. Established own consulting company in 2013, providing listed entities various services such as financial reporting support, development of budget management system and post-merger-integration support. Recently, engaged with consultation for introducing new accounting standards such as revenue recognition and lease accounting.
